About Monica Wolf
Mrs. Monica Wolf, 79, died at Hilcrest Manor Nursing Home here early Monday morning. Prior to her residence at the home last June, she lived at 1409 Pine St., Hays.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1961; one daughter Mrs. Alex Dechant in 1969, and by three sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Wolf is survived by five daughters, Mrs. William (Germaine) Dechant, Hays, Mrs. John (Victoria) Fisher, Hays, Mrs. August (Cora) Giebler, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Robert (Erma) Schaffer, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Meier, Commerce City, Colo.; four sons, Alphonse, Silven, and Alvin, all of Denver, Colo., and Elmer of Hays; two brothers, Alex Werth of Victoria and Leo Werth of Ellis; three sisters, Mrs. Adolph Windholz and Mrs. Andy Riedel of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Andy Windholz of Brighton, Colo.; 37 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Church in Hays with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 7:30 p.m. Monday until service time at Brock’s North Hill Chapel. There will be a parish wake service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
