Moritz Gugenheimer

Moritz was a geologist. The Regensburg family record indicates that he emigrated to America where he was in the weaving business. We found a naturaliztion document from 1857 in Boston but nothing further yet. see http://kittymunson.com/index.php?page=gugenheimer-children

According to Barbara Sperling "Moritz Gugenheimer was practicing geology. He worked with Wilhelm von Gümbel during the geological mapping of the Bavarian Forest. My husband is working on a collection of short biography of Gümbel's stuff and the history of geological survey in the Bavarian Forest:

"The geological Survey of the Ostbayerisches Grenzgebirge by Wilhelm Gümbel and his Staff"
