About Morton Philip Steyer

Morton was the sixth and last child born to William and Mary Martina (Mortenson) Steyer

Morton Philip Steyer and Evelyn Opal Lorenz were married June 21, 1939, at the home of her parents in Belvidere, Thayer Co., Nebraska. He grew up in a large, loving family, which readily accepted Evelyn, and often involved her parents in their family activities.

Their first daughter, Margaret Louise Steyer, was born in 1941 in Omaha. Their daughter Carol Ann Steyer was born on December 23, 1945, and lived only 5 days.

They are all buried here together at Fort Calhoun Cemetery. There are no living descendants of this couple.
