Death of Moses Bland

Moses Bland,an old and respected citizen of Owen Township, this county, died on Sunday at his home at the advanced age of 68 years. He hadlived in Pulaski County for the last fifty years. The past twenty-two years he lived on the place in Owen township, that was opened up byCol. Tom Fletcher, having bought the same when Col. Fletcher moved to this city. He had many friends in the county who will greatly regret to hear of his death. He had been a constant member of the church for many years and his last request to his children was that they so live as to meet him in heaven. Submitted by Joyce Bland McCool.
