Biography
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Going-177
Moses Going Sr born c 1742 was the illegitimate son of Agnes Going born 1725 and unknown (possibly Collins). However, it is likely his father as well as his mother were Native American and his parents were married according to Native American traditions but such a marriage was not recognised by colonial authorities.
Moses married by 1762 Louisa VA his first cousin Agness "Aggie" Going, the daughter of Elizabeth "Mulatto" (Native American) and David Going Sr.
He migrated by 1783 from Louisa to near Saura Town, Henry VA, where he built and operated a gristmill on the North Mayo River; after ca 1787 he migrated to GA where he built and operated a gristmill on the Ogeechee River.
