About Moses Norris
Moses served as a soldier from Aug 31 to Sep 28, 1696. On 3 Feb 1698, the town laid out 30 acres of land for him. He received 16 acres "on the road to Hampton farms" from his father on 9 Apr 1698, and on that same date received two acres of land from his father-in-law. In 1706, the town of Exeter granted him another 50 acres. On 2 Feb 1720-21, "for fatherly love and affection" he deeded land to his children, who were to receive possession after his and his wife's death.
