6 February 1697: Instrument of Cognition and Sasine, dated 6th February 1697, in favour of Mr. Robert Craig, otherwise Herriot, now of Ramorny, eldest son of the deceased Mr Craig, Advocate, as heir of (a) deceased Jonet Livingstoun, wife of Mr. Robert Craig, advocate, his grandmother (b) deceased Catharine Livingstoun, his grandmother's sister, and (c) deceased Margaret Livingstoun, also grandmother's sister, said Jonet, Catharine and Margaret Livingstoun being the daughters and heirs-portioners of deceased Mr. Alexander Livingstoun, advocate, in three one third parts of certain annualrents furth of subjects in Edinburgh in Halyburtoun's Close and St. Mary Wynd, and on the south side of the High Street National Records of Scotland, Yule Collection, Charters, reference GD90/1/278
