About Mary Townsend
Not the same as Mary Phillips
Mary Otis married Jonathan Townsend in 1724, in Hebron, Tolland, Connecticut, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 13 January 1742, at the age of 36.
JONATHAN TOWNSEND OF HEBRON, CONNECTICUT.
We are unable to trace Jonathan Townsend of Watertown, Mass., after 1713 until he appears some years afterwards at Hebron, Connecticut. We have been unable to find the maiden name of his wife. We infer that he emigrated to Hebron, Connecticut, soon after 1713.
He became the father of six sons and at least two daughters. His sons were David, Martin, Amasa, Jesse, Richard and Timothy. His daughters were Anna and one whose christian name is unknown.
