MARSHALL -- Services for Myron Geer Blalock Jr., 84, will be 1 p.m. today, October 14, 2005, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Houston, with the Rev. Lee McKinzie officiating. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005, in Grange Hall Cemetery in Marshall, with the Rev. Joel McMahon and the Rev. Sam Cutrone officiating. Arrangements are by Geo. H. Lewis & Sons of Houston, with local arrangements by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home of Marshall.
Mr. Blalock was born August 19, 1921, in Marshall, and he died October 12, 2005. He served as a major in the Air Corps, assistant district attorney in Houston, and member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jen Collier Blalock; son, Myron Geer Blalock III; and sister, Jodie Blalock Brelsford.
