About N.N. Thomas
The parents of Sarah Taft are unknown. They were not Lydia Thomas & Jeremiah Thomas. It seems unlikely her mother was Mary Thomas
The 1st husband of Mary Thomas was living in Worcester County, MA. between December 1689, and 1719, judging from the birth of his daughter, Sarah, and the second [third] marriage of his widowed wife, Mary Thomas.

This man would need to have been deceased or otherwise out of the picture before abt 1687/ 1690, when Mary Thomas married Robert Durfee. It was as the widow of Robert Durfee that she married Jeremiah Thomas in 1720. Sarah Thomas married Robert Taft in 1707 as Sarah Thomas: if she was later adopted by Jeremiah Thomas, she would not have "then" adopted the surname of Thomas, as her name changed to Taft upon marriage.
In addition, Mary (Sanford) Durfee, later Mary (Sanford) Thomas, is not known to have resided in Worcester County ...
Perhaps most importantly, there is no sign in the Sanford genealogies of a Sarah Thomas, daughter of Mary Sanford.
