Nancy Rae Lassiter

Born March 5, 1915, Sister Nancy Lassiter, a native of Coffeeville, Clarke County, Alabama, and a resident of Plateau, Alabama for a number of years, passed suddenly, August 17, 1973 at a local nursing home.

She leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted husband, Mr. Howard Lassiter, Pateau, Al., a devoted Mother, Mrs. Albert Collins of Prichard, Al., six sisters, Mrs. Nettie Dickinson, and Mrs. Flossie Watson of Prichard, Al., Mrs. Beatrice Jackson and Ms. Eartha Murphy of Oakland, Ca., Mrs. Grace Horn of Detroit, Mi., and Mrs. Ida Lou Johnson of Coffeeville, Al., one brothe, Mr. James Law of Boston, Ma., a father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lassiter, Butler, Al., five aunts, five uncles, two sisters-in-law, one devoted, Mrs. Annie Mae Kirksey, Philadlphia, Pa., Mrs. Ora Lee Law of Boston, Ma., five brothers-in-law, Mr. Robert Lassiter, Butler, Al., Jerome Dickinson and Mr. Marshall Watson, Prichard, Al., Mr. Clifford Horn, Sr. of Detroit, Mi., and Mr. Clarence Jackson, Sr., of Oakland, Ca., devoted friends; Mrs. Claudine Martin and Mrs. Lela Thompson of Prichard, Al., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services, Friday, August 14, 1973, 2:00 PM, First Hopewell Baptist Church, 664 Shelby Street, Magazine, Al, Rev. John McCarty Minister. Interment in Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery, Hodge Funeral Chapel directing.
