Membership: WCTU, President of the Wymore NE local union, El Reno OK local union, southern district of Oklahoma, treasurer of the Territorial Union. Letter dated 19 Jul 1987, from Helen L Patzel, of Lincoln, Nebraska, stated she had searched the Wymore portion of an 1180-page hand-written ledger containing the History of the WCTU in NE, by Ada M Bittenbender, and found on ly the statement, The Wymore Union was organized March 27th 1885 at the Congregational Church. When the first officers resigned, Mrs O P Light was elected president. It seems she served for one year. When I corresponded in the early 1970s with Clare Prather, he stated that he had never been able to prove the children of Lloyd Benton Prather, but that O.P. Lights lists confirmed the children he had presumed through other evidence.
