Nancy McLaughlin Paul

Nancy McLauglin was married three times. Here is what Elizabeth Kendrick wrote about her great grandmother's three marriages in a handwritten Family History:Nancy Paul's mother was Nancy Mclauglin, born in what was then Virginia but is now West Virginia. She first married a man of French descent (Bernard La Coste) who died on the boat coming from West Virginia to Natchez. In Natchez, she married Joseph Wev, also apparently of French descent, who also died a few years later, after the birth of a son. She then married Peter Paul by whom she had a son and a number of daughters. One of the daughters was named Pasquelina in memory of her husband's original name. However, she was called Packey.In a separate Handwritten Note, Elizabeth Kendrick wrote:Joseph Wev's widow, Nancy McLaughlin-LaCoste-Wev married Peter Paul of Natchez. There were six children born of this marriage, one of whom was Nancy Paul, born in Natchez January 5, 1824
