Naomi T Francis

Naomi T. Francis, 95, of Russia, Ohio passed away at 11:15 A.M. on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born October 15, 1913 in Russia, Ohio.

Naomi is preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Francis and sister, LaVera "Toots" Pleiman.

She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Dorothy (Dot) & Louis Simon and Angela & Richard Condon; grandchildren: Denise Simon, Marla Simon Boone, Elise Simon, Amy Simon, Dan Condon, Sheri Condon Mayo and Jeff Condon; four great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

Naomi was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia. She enjoyed nature, gardening, painting and her grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia, with Rev. Fr. Frank Amberger celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Remy Cemetery in Russia.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to Miami County Hospice, P.O. Box 502 Troy, Ohio 45373.
