About Natalie Ruben (Aber)
Natalie was a very heavy woman. Vera remembers her as being very nice and that she liked her very much. On the holidays the family always went to Danzig and SOPOT and Natalie gave Vera special chocolate. In Israel she lived in the same apartment as Vera and Marianna. She broke her arm once in the Shul HaCarmel. She had a plaster cast on and it itched, so she put cologne down it. The cast dissolved and the doctor did not replace it. Vera and Werner used to massage her arm. On the day that she died. Vera almost burned the house down with a heating pad that she had in her bed.
