Per page 293 of "The Fish Family in England & America" by Lester Warren Fish (Rutland: 1948 The Tuttle Publishing Co., Inc.): Rev. Timothy Wightman officiated Nathan's 11AUG1771 wedding to Phebe Packer (b.1757, daughter of Joseph Packer and Elenor Ashby, d.JAN1824).

In Groton, CT they had seven children: KATHERINE (b.10DEC1771, m. James Henry); DUDLEY (b.3NOV1773, d.MAR1813, m.Patty Henry, buried in Halifax Center CEM); EDWARD (b.28JUL1775); PRUDENCE (b.17SEP1776, m.David Henry); PHEBE (b.12MAY1778, m.Josephas Fitch 12MAR1797 in Groton, CT.,d.13FEB1855 in Noank,CT); ELIZABETH "Betsey"(b.1780, m.Benjamin Henry 21APR1803) and ANNA (who died 4JUL1785 at the age of 4, and was buried in Clark Family CEM, Halifax, VT). *** Here, some trees insert EBENEZER Fish, 1782-1863***

Mary Ann Richardson in 1812, d.23OCT1846 in Oswego, NY) and SOPHIA [b.2AUG1794 in Halifax, VT., married Brig. General James Bell Ricardson (1792-1844). She was living in Oswego NY in 1850 and 1860, where she died about 1867.]

Born in the seaport of Groton, New London, Connecticut, Nathan"7" (1749-1808) was one of 14 children born to Nathan"6" (1727-1822), who was the son of Nathan"5" (1699-1732), who was the son of Captain Samuel Fish (1656-1733). Samuel was the son of John Fish (FAG 23225037, b.1621 in Leicestershire, England, d.1689 in Groton, CT.)
