Nathan is the brother of my ancestor Jonathan Reynolds who m. Susanna Billings. I believe you have the death date for Nathan Reynolds (1805) wrong. I believe that this death date is for his child Nathan b. 1788 rather than the Nathan b. 1767. I have the will and probate documents for both parents of Nathan b. 1767; father Ebenezer Reynolds and his mother Sarah Eggleston Reynolds. Ebenezer Reynolds d. 1819 and Sarah d. 1923. Their son Nathan along with their son Jonathan (my ancestor) are administrators/executors and heirs for both the parents. So the Nathan b. 1767 couldn't have died 1805. If you look at Barbour Collection for Preston,6 months after the Nathan who d. 1805 died, there is a Nathan Crandall Reynolds (son of Nathan) b. Dec 28 1805. Considering that Nathan b. 1767 married Hannah Crandall, this child, who was born 6 months after the Nathan who d. June 1805 is much more likely to be the child of Nathan Reynolds and Hannah Crandall. Because of the Probate docs of Ebenezer Reynolds and Sarah Eggleston Reynolds (parents of Nathan Reynolds b. 1767) this Reynolds was still alive circa 1823.
New York Wills & Probate 26 Aug 1853 Chenango, NY for Nathan Reynolds has Marvin Wait Reynolds as administrator (this is name of his son). So the son as administrator is evidence this is the correct Nathan Reynolds and wife Hannah. We have evidence this is the correct Marvin Wait Reynolds because in this family group, Nathan Reynolds and Hannah Crandall Reynolds had children Hannah Reynolds, Nathan Crandall Reynolds and Marvin Wait Reynolds (among others) and I have also found transcription of the daughter Hannah's Will 30 Apr 1856 in Broome County, NY, which looks to be next door county. She apparently married a Rose (William Rose, I believe). As Hannah R. Rose she list her brothers Nathan Crandall Reynolds and Marvin Wait Reynolds (although in the transcription he is listed as Martin Wait Reynolds).
