About Nathan Ware
Capt. in the Revolutionary War; "He came home on a furlough of ill-health, was unabele to return when the furlough expired, and was ordered from headquarters to go to Dr. Warren's Hospital in Boston, which he did and was there until the war closed; and for this reason he never got his wages. He died soon after the Pension List was granted by Congress.
Capt. Nathan Ware, jr., spent time and money to obtain his wages and pension but to no avail.
His wife was always a feeble woman, but a kind and faithful wife and mother, teaching her children to walk in the way of truth and uprightness, and to shun the evils of this world."
