Nathaniel Ambrose was born in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts in December 1677-78. He lived in Salisbury where we was first a weaver by trade, then a yeoman. He married, first Sarah Eastman of Salisbury, Essex, MA on 8 Dec 1697. She died 28 Aug 1728; and Nathaniel removed to Chester, Rockingham County, NH in the fall of 1731, where he afterward lived and may have had a second wife. He died in Chester in 1745.
His exact burial location is unknown. He may be buried at the Chester Village Cemetery, an old historical cemetery in Rockingham county.
