About Nathaniel Cole, of Swansea
Not the same as Nathaniel Cole, of Duxbury (who married Sarah) or Nathaniel Cole, of Farmington (who married Elizabeth Woodford).

When Nathaniel Cole was born [1][2] in 1673 in Swansea, Massachusetts, his father, John, was 36 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 27.
He married Elizabeth Eddy [3] in 1700 in his hometown. She was the daughter of Caleb Eddy and Elizabeth Bullock, born 20 Apr 1678 in Swansea, Massachusetts, and died after 1713.
They had three known children [4] during their marriage.
He died on March 18, 1745, in his hometown [5]at the age of 72, and was buried there.
The will of Nathaniel Cole of Swanzey, yeoman, is dated 28 May 1744 and was proved (15?) March 1744/5.[6] It mentions:
- wife Elizabeth
- son Caleb Cole
- daughter Patience, the wife of Aaron Kingsley
- eldest son Nathaniel Cole, who is said to be non compos mentis, and his wife Sarah
- grandsons Barnard, Ephraim, and Nathaniel Cole, "the sons and only children of my sd. son Nathaniel by Sarah his wife."
Executor was his grandson Barnard.
