A HAND WRITTEN PETITION TO THE COURT IN NATHANIEL'S OWN HAND, (SIGNED NATHANIEL GOWING), FOR MARTHA'S PORTION OF THE ESTATE OF JOHN PROCTOR (KILLED IN THE SALEM WITCH TRIALS), IS AVAILABLE ONLINE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF VA.
