The 1900 census says that Nathan was born in June 1883. It also says he was a student. And it says he immigrated to America in 1886.
The 1910 census says that he was born in 1881 or 1882. It also says he was working as a bookkeeper in a bank. And it says he immigrated to America in 1889.
The 1920 census also says he was born in 1881 or 1882, but it says he immigrated to America in 1890. It says he was working as a clerk in a bank.
The transcription of his tombstone on the Nesvizh site says he was born 11/3/1881.
From the fact that his last name was Aaronson in the 1900 and 1910 censuses and Orens in the 1920 census, we know that he changed his name in the intervening decade.
He's listed as a bookkeeper and clerk making $900 in the Annual report of the Superintendent of the Banking Department of the State of New York, presented on December 31, 1907. He worked in the department at the time.
