About Nathaniel Pettit, Jr.

Notes Note:

"Nathaniel Pettit, son of Nathaniel and Mary (Bayley) Pettit, was born about 1676 in Newtown, Long Island, and went with his parents to New Jersey. In 1708 he married Elizabeth, daughter of Andrew Heath, a large landowner near the Falls of Delaware. He apparently did not adhere to the Quaker faith of his father, as he was connected with the parish of St. Andrew's Episcopal church, Lambertville, New Jersey." Annals of The Forty
