Note:
Nathaniel Sutton married Deborah Astine in Nansemond County, Virginia, and they moved to Perquimans County, North Carolina where they became Quakers. In 1684 Deborah Sutton received a land grant of 280 acres on the east side of the Perquimans River, at the mouth of Little Creek.
