Bill Jones
LEESBURG-Nealie Youngblood Nadeau, 92, died in LRMH-North at Leesburg on Friday, Nov. 2, 2001. Bill "B.J." Jones, 90, died at Hawthorne Retirement, also at Leesburg in Mid-October.
They were married Easter Sunday, 2001.
Nealie will be remembered as "Pal" while B.J. is best remembered as "B.J., the Hobo" after a lifelong career with Barnum Bailey Circus.
Memorial services for Nealie were held in the First Presbyterian Church of Leesburg, while B.J.'s were held at Hawthorne Retirement's Activity Center. An expression of love was given at each service by Louise Dyal Miller. For Nealie's she read a poem (and explained the life stories therein) written in honor of Nealie's 90th birthday by her son, T.C. Miller of Keystone Heights.
Nealie's childhood was spent in Theressa. She was the youngest daughter of pioneer settlers of Bradford County, the late Cornelius "Neal" and Mary Youngblood. She is survived locally by her niece, Ruth Johns of Starke and her cousins, Louise, T.C., "Jeff" and Joannie of Melrose and Keystone Heights.
