Theunis Gijsbertszn in Den Boogaertman b. 1562, Schoonrewoerd, Vianen, Holland, m. (1) Neeltjien Laurens, d. 1646, m. (2) Mayeken Meertens. Theunis died 1647, Schoonrewoerd, Vianen, Holland. Lived on the Hoog van Middlecoop, Schoonrewoerd, near Leerdam, in the Province of South Holland. Extensive history in New York and New England Families, 1883 by S.V. Talcott. He was guardian of his grandchildren, the children of his two deceased sons Gijsbert and Cornelius. Neeltjien: Upon her death, she left her estate to her husband and two sons.
