About Nehemiah Sabin
Nehemiah Sabin, s. of the immigrant William Sabin, b. at Rehoboth, Mass. May 28, 1647. He was a combatant in the King Philip's War and died at present-day Narragansett, Rhode Island where he was buried in June 1676, Æ 30.
On Aug. 1, 1672 at Rehoboth, Mass. Nehemiah m. Elizabeth Fuller, dau. of Robert Fuller & Sarah Bowen, b. circa 1652 at Rehoboth. They had three children before his death; only the first two have a birth record at Rehoboth:
• i. Elizabeth Sabin, b. May 10, 1673; an exhaustive search finds no further record of her.
• ii. David Sabin, b. Nov. 10, 1674; bur. at Rehoboth Feb. 4, 1674/5.
• iii. Daniel Sabin, b. circa 1676; see his memorial.
On Apr. 17, 1678 at Rehoboth, the widow Elizabeth (Fuller) Sabin m. Capt. Eleazer Wheelock of Medfield, Mass., son of Rev. Ralph Wheelock & Rebecca Clark(e).
