About Neigel de Adair

Their castle was Dunskey, near Portpatrick, on the Atlantic Ocean. It is still designated on the Historical Map of Scotland. He was a witness to the restoration of the lands of the Lochnaw by William Douglas to Andrew Agnew in 1426. His father, (Robert Fitzgerald de Adair), had a second son, Robert Adair of Kinhilt, ancestor of the Adairs of Genoch.
