Nellie Koedyker

She was born in 1895 in Cook County, Illinois, very probably in or south of Chicago, daughter of to Gosse Olthoff and Wynanda J Van Ramshorst. Her Dutch parents immigrated both in 1886.

In 1910 Nellie Olthoff (15, Illinois), her father George Olthoff (49, Holland), her mother Winanda (42, Holland), her siblings John (19, Illinois), Harry (16, Illinois), George (13, Illinois), Alfred (11, Illinois), Winanda J (8, Illinois) and Peter C (4, Illinois) lived in Thornton [Township], just south of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.

Nellie Olthoff married on 1 May 1919 in South Holland, Thornton Township, Cook County, Illinois to the also 24 years aged Harry Koedyker, who had Dutch parents too.

They had a son, Calvin, who was born in 1924 in South Holland, and a daughter, Winnette, born about 1928.

Her husband Harry Koedyker died in April 1975 at a hospital at Harvey, a city south of Chicago, Illinois at the age of 80 years. Nellie died in February 1985 in South Holland at the age of about 90 years.
