Nellie Bartol Weber

Nellie Bartol Harris Weber of 767 Merriweather died at the New Braunfels Hospital March 14, at the age of 81. She was the daughter of George Bartol and Charlotte Rosene (Parsons) Harris. On Sept. 20, 1916 she married Jacob Joseph Weber (he died in 1955) they both were from Portland, Cumberland County, Maine. They later moved to the Grand Rapids, Mich. area. At the time of her death, Nellie was living in New Braunsfel, Texas with her daughter Mrs. (Minivera Josephine Weber) B. F. Burris, one son Lt. Col Joseph H. Weber of Alexandria, Va. three grandchildren, David Sherwin Burris, George Bartol Burris and Deborah Paige Weber. She had a brother Norwood Harris Sr., and sisters, Hattie Fitch, Marion Spaulding, Louise MacDonald, Ruth Thombs and Winnifred Earley. Rev. Larry Putman conducted funeral services at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home, New Braunsfel, Texas. The body was cremated and ashes were placed in Sunset Memorial Park.

The obituary states ashes were placed in Sunset but the Forest City Cemetery has record that she was buried there.
