NICHOLAS & MARY PULCZINSKI: Barto Township

Nicholas and his wife: Mary KIEDROWVIEZ PULCZINSKI were both born in Poland. Nicholas in 1830 and Mary in 1837. They immigrated to America settling in Winona, MN area. Later they moved to Ardoch, North Dakota. Mary passed away in Oct 1897 and is buried at Warsaw, ND. Nicholas sold his claim near Ardoch and moved to the Leo, MN community shortly after his wife died.

They had four children: Alvina NARLOCK, John, Joseph & Paul. About 1895 the 3 sons sold their claims in ND and moved to Roseau County, MN. Nicholas died in 1920 and is buried in Leo, MN.

1880 census Nicolas Polshinski, Marianna Polshinski, John Polshinski, Joseph Polshinski, Paul Polshinski & Balwina Polshinski were living at Buffalo, Buffalo County, Wisconsin, United States.

Nicholas Pulczinski and Mary Kiedrowvicz Pulczinski family came to North Dakota from Winona, Minn. They were both born in Poland. He died in 1920 and is buried at Leo, Minn. His wife, Mary, bom in Poland in 1837, died in Oct., 1897, and is buried in the Warsaw Cemetery. Their children were John, Joseph, Paul, and Alvina. John, Joseph and Paul were married and lived on their claims in Ardoch Township. When land was opened for homesteading in Roseau Co. , Minn., in 1895, they disposed of their holdings here and went to Minnesota. Alvina married Bernard Narloch, Jr. , Feb . 4, 1890. They lived on a homestead in Ardoch Township until coming to Minto in 1896. Nicholas Pulczinski sold the claim, NW'/i of Sec. 13155-52 and 40 acres in SW'A of Sec. 11-155-52 and he too moved to Leo, Minn., shortly after his wife died in October, 1897. He passed away November, 1920 and is buried in the Leo cemetery. His wife died at their home in Ardoch Township and is buried in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Warsaw. (Walsh Heritage - vol.1)
