Nira Marie Madick

Nira Marie (Pfeifer) Madick, 72, of Independence, passed at her home on September 1, 2006.

A visitation with rosary will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., with services on Friday the 8th, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 600 N. Liberty Ave., Independence. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Madick was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area.

Mrs. Madick is survived by her loving husband Joe of the home; sons John H., and Joseph P. Madick; daughters Teresa Brown and Leslie Parvin; her brother Gary Pfeifer; sisters Shirley Webber and Josephine Lorton ; sister-in-law Jackie Pfeifer, and grandchildren Shari Ann Goodell, Christopher, Britnie, and Anthony Madick, and great granddaughter Anastasia Madick.

Mrs. Madick is preceded in death by her parents, John A. and Josephine Pfeifer, daughter Patricia Ann Madick, and grandson Steven G. Brown.
