About Nora Ellen Skinner
Miss Nora Ellen Skinner died at her home near Westbrookville, on Friday afternoon, at 3 o'clock, after a short illness of acute indigestion, aged 48 years.
Miss Skinner was born in the town of Deerpark, in the house where she died, on Jan. 9, 1868. She was the daughter of Festus Skinner and Ellen Clark Skinner. Her entire life had been passed in this section, where she leaves many friends and relatives. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of Otisville.
She is survived by two sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Ida M. Carter, of Otisville; Mrs. Eva A. Patrell, of Middletown; Cyrus Skinner, of Cuddebackville, and Ernestus Skinner, of Otisville.
The funeral services will be held at the Westbrookville M. E. Church on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A prayer will be offered at the house at 1 o'clock prior to going to the church. The interment will be in the Westbrookville Cemetery. --Middletown (NY) Times-Press, Saturday, September 16, 1916
