Nora Thomas Eubank was born Dec. 4, 1905, in Paris, Lamar County, TX, daughter of Thomas "Tom" and Sallie Mae (Stell) Eubank. Sister of Melvin Newton (1891); Lillie May (1895); Myrtle Elizabeth (1898) and Katie Earl (1901) Eubank. Nora attended Paris schools.

On April 20, 1924, Nora T Eubank married Robert W Pratt in Paris, TX, with the Rev. Lawrence W. Shivers conducting the ceremony. They had 3 sons and 1 daughter, Louis Newton; Kenneth Wayne; Betty Tom and Bobby Gene Pratt.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Paris and had been a member of the Women's Home Demonstration clubs and the Parent-Teacher Association.

On Saturday, April 20, 1974, Robert and Nora Pratt of Paris celebrated their golden 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., at the Walnut Room of the Holiday Inn in Paris attended by family and friends. The special event was hosted by their children and their families. By 1995, her family had grown to include 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

On Wednesday, May 24, 1995, Nora Thomas Eubank Pratt, age 89, formerly of 621-25th NE, Paris, died at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center in Paris. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home conducted graveside services at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, with Dr. Pat Otwell presiding at Evergreen Cemetery, Paris, Lamar County, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Pratt, in 1978, a son, Louis N. Pratt, in 1990, and a great grandson. Burial was in Plot: Block 41, Lot 41, Space 3, next to her husband.
