Norman Orlando Pratt

Norman served during the Civil War with Company B 96th Il Inf. & was also with the Signal Corps.

He died as a result of being imprisoned at Andersonville & other prisons during the war.

After the war, he was sick frequently & barely able to work much of the time.

He lived in Nashua, Chickasaw Co., IA until near the time of his death.

He married Judette E. Griswold in 1861 by whom he had one son who died young.
