Otha Otmer Pursley, a son of William Edward and Nancy E. (Icenhour) Pursley, was born in Roane County WV in 1887 and died in 1972.

He married Campsa [Campsia] Dell Short in 1913. Campsa, a daughter of William Wetzel and Elizabeth (Buchanan) Short, was born in 1892 and died in 1923.

Otha married Ella Bella Norman in 1926. Ella, a daughter of Sylvanis Walker and Molly (Drake) Norman, was born in 1899 and died in 1979.
