A list of the Ratables for the TOwnship of Lebanon, Hunterdon co., N.J., for the year 1778 shows Jacob Hemry taxed 2 horese, 5 cows, and 1 hog. His name continues to appear on the tax rolls for the years 1779 and 1780, but not for the year 1784. It is possible that he died about this time since his last child was born in 1782.
The birth and baptismanl records of his last two children are contained in the archives of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Lebanon. His wife is given as Eva or Eva Gertrude, in these entries. Her maiden name is not known. They were probably married in or about 1758.
