Obediah Wilbur

Obadiah Wilbur, born August 6, 1739 in Dutchess County, New York; died September 8, 1819. He was the son of Robert Wilbur and Freelove Duval. He married Freelove Mosher, born February 2, 1742; died September 28, 1827.

Obadiah Wilbur was one of the early settlers of Dutchess County, New York. They lived in Chatham as early as May 1774 when Obadiah signed a petition for a landgrant. They were Quakers.
