‘Old’ John Kenyon, of Glodwick

This John is not the father of John and James of Westerly, Rhode Island.

It has been proven that the John Kenyon of Glodick (Oldham), born 1655, and the John Kenyon of Westerly were not the same person, nor is he the one married to a woman named Anna.[1] The family from Lancashire never left England and death records have been found for all of them.[1]

John was born to James Kenyon and Ester Smith 26 April 1655 in Glodwick (Oldham), Lancashire, England.[1]

"Old John Kenyon of Glodwick" died 17 Mar 1732.[2]
