Ref.: Madison Wisconsin State Journal (1949 april 20. wednesday) "Ole Sandven" STOUGHTON - Ole Sandven, 70, died Tuesday at a Stoughton hspital after al long illness. Born in Norway, he came to this country about 50 years ago, and farmed in the Deerfield area. He was married to Regina Bronte Mar. 27, 1907 at the West Koshkonong Lutheran church. The Sandvens moved to Stoughton seven years ago. He was a member of the West Koshkonong Lutheran church, and the Sons of Norway lodge. Surviving are his wife; a son Obed, Cottage Grove; two daughters Mrs. Sverre Brekke, Stoughton and Mrs. Robert Zimmerman, Milwaukee; three grandchildren; and two brothers and a sister in Norway. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the West Koshkonong Lutheran church, with the Rev. Henry Thmpson and the Rev. L. L. Nesvig officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at th Nelson funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday, and at the church from noon Friday until the service.
