"WEDDINGS. BARR-DAVID-HIMMELHOCH. The marriage of Miss Olga Himmelhoch, second daughter of the late Hyam Himmel- hoch and Mrs. Himmelhoch, of Carlotta-road, Double Bay, to Dr. J. S. Barr-David, of Mel- bourne, was celebrated at the Great Syna- gogue last night by Rabbi Cohen. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. F. She carried an early Victorian posy of pink and white flowers. The bridesmaids were Miss Enid Himmelhoch, sister of the bride, and Miss Nellie Schwartz. They wore early Victorian frocks of delphinium blue taffeta, with frilled tulle skirts, and had a bandeau of silver leaves in their hair, and they carried early Victorian posies of pink carnations. Mr. George Myres was the best man, and Mr. Alec Schwartz the groomsman. The recep- tion was held at Dungowan, Martin-place, which was decorated with blue delphiniums and pink carnations. The bride's mother wore a frock of mauve crepe de Chine, beaded in mauve and purple tones, and she carried a mauve posy. Mrs. Barr-David wore black crepe de Chine, beaded in Oriental colourings. Her posy was of red roses."
