Oliver and his wife had 2 daughters and 3 sons. Son Curtis was a furniture maker, son Otis was the village undertaker and keeper of the Old Cemetery, son Oliver was South Dedhams'only tailor. daughter Eliza Ann married Simon Cheney in 1845. She had rheumatic fever in childhood and had to wear sun glasses because the disease made her eyes sensitive to the sun.(( see her profile picture) . And daughter Hannah married Silas Capen.
Oliver Morse was the village Taylor and lived and worked in a salt box style house located where St Catherine's Church now stands. Source Norwood directory
