Obituary: MRS. ORA M. VANCE Published: The Charleston Gazette, Wednesday, October 18, 1989
MRS. Ora M. Vance, 81, of 275 Walgrove Road, Elkview, formerly of Malden and Rand, died Oct. 17, 1989, in General Division, CAMC, after a short illness.
She was a homemaker and attended Farrah Memorial Baptist Church, Rand.
Surviving: daughters, Myrtle Maxine Sampson of Elkview, Frances Quesenberry of Rand; sisters, Rosa Harpold of Rand, Hallie Lockard of Hurricane; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Published: The Charleston Gazette, Thursday, October 19, 1989 VANCE, Mrs. Ora M. -- Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview, with the Rev. Waitman Newhouse officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Charleston.
