Oscar Valentine Rogers, Sr

When Oscar Valentine Rogers was born on February 14, 1860, in Henderson, Rusk, Texas, his father, George, was 47 and his mother, Mary Lois "Lucky", was 31. He married Mariah Elizabeth "Mary" Parr on August 5, 1880, in his hometown. They had ten children in 17 years. Their kids were: Emile Martinez, Ernest Parr, Major Penn "Slim", Ada D , Oscar Valentine Jr, Jack Harper, Jennie, Charles Henry "Charlie", William Bryan, and George W Parr. He died on March 13, 1942, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 82, and was buried there in the Hollywood Cemetery Plot: Lawn Girt.
