Oskari Nyström

To the same age class with Tanner and Ramstedt belonged also humorous song writer Oskari Nyström, whose best performance time was just after the civic war and ended in 1925. He also was one of those who didn´t live so long. He died in a tragic way relatively young at the age of 40. Nyström was born in Oulu. He remembers his home town in his song "The son of Oulu" .

Oskaris mother was certainly not the only one who in these days wished the lovely and shouting boy to become a priest - about the same thing tells among others Tatu Pekkarinen in his song "Maailman Matti".
