"Bud" Largent was my Grandfather. He married Ada Ivalee Hedges on May 12, 1934 in Arkansas. Together they had 7 children.

O.C. and Ada are buried next to each other. My grandmother mourned him for the 18 years she survived without him. She never remarried.

My fondest memories is of Grandpa giving us M&Ms that he would have secretly stashed in his pockets for us and allowing us to steal sips of his coffee (loaded with sugar and cream). He was tall and slender and always had this familiar fragrance of Kool Menthol cigarettes and coffee. I still miss him dearly.
