Biography

Oswald Mosley was born on 17 March 1761. He was the son of Sir John Parker Mosley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bayley. He married Elizabeth Tonman, daughter of Reverend Thomas Tonman, on 3 February 1784. He died on 27 July 1789 at age 28 at Rolleston, Staffordshire, England.He was educated at Manchester Grammar School, Manchester, Lancashire, England. He was educated at Macclesfied Grammar School, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England. He purchased Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire in 1785.
