About Ottilie (Otty) Spielmann
Otty Reiniger performed as soloist with the Wiener Symphoniker on 22 November 1908 and 17 October 1909 in Felix Mendelsohn Bartholdy's Violin Concerto op.64, and on 10 January 1915 in Johann Sebastian Bach's Concerto for 2 violins, BWV 1043 (with Adolf Menaszes).
The 1922 Cincinnati Address Book listed her as Instructor of Violin, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
Her violin was made by André Conot.
Deported with Transport 31 from Vienna, Austria to Theresienstadt Ghetto,Czechoslovakia on 14/07/1942. Deported from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz Birkenau Camp on 16/10/1944. Murdered in the Shoah.
