Patricia (Murray) Cyr, 78, resided in Enfield for 46 years, beloved wife of the late Alphonse L. Cyr, entered into eternal rest on Monday, (February 5, 2007) at Bay state Medical Center. Born on February 9, 1928, in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Zimmerman) Murray. Patricia was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Enfield. A loving mother, grandmother and aunt, Patricia is survived by her son Steven L. Cyr and his wife Jennifer of Hopewell Junction, NY, two daughters: Elizabeth M. Cyr and Doreen J. Cyr both of Enfield, three grandchildren: Matthew L., Lauren C. and Kathryn E. Cyr all of Hopewell Junction, NY and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her two brothers: Robert and Bernard Murray and her two sisters: Eleanor Wall and Verna Eslinger. A funeral procession will gather by 9 a.m. on Friday, February 9, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Enfield. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick King Street Cemetery, Enfield. Patricia's family will receive relatives and friends during visitation hours from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels.
