Patricia R. McGinnis

McGINNIS, Patricia R. Nalepa, 74, of Steubenville, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Trinity West. She was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Steubenville, the daughter of the late John Nalepa and Constance Cross Nalepa Pender. Pat was retired from the former All Saints Catholic School where she was the secretary for 17 years; a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, its CWC and the Stratton Senior Citizens and a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1954. Pat is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. McGinnis, one brother, John Nalepa, one sister, Dorothy Politi, stepfather, Ed Pender and an infant son Edward McGinnis. Surviving are three daughters, Debra (Louis) DeMattio Jr., Mary Catherine (Bill) Allen both of Steubenville and Marie (Doug) Kelly of Algonquin, IL.; two sisters, Marie (Norman) Allen of Stratton and Eleanor (Mike) Simone of Toronto; eight grandchildren, Molly, Kyle and Ryan DeMattio, Adrienne (Daniel) Pisaniello, Bridget and Rachel Allen and Connor and Nora Kelly; one great-granddaughter, Lucy Pisaniello. Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Msgr. George Yontz, celebrant. There will be a vigil service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
